About the Course

In this masterclass, you’ll learn to sew your own dress step by step, from cutting to the final pressing. You’ll cut the pattern pieces in your chosen main fabric and lining, and learn how to construct facings, attach the lining, and install an invisible zip.

Throughout the process, we’ll work with fit, balance, and the lines of the dress, and look at how to shape the neckline, waist, and skirt so that the garment fits beautifully on your individual body. The goal is that, after the course, you’ll be able to sew more dresses on your own – with confidence in the process and a finish that looks truly refined.

Location: Kathrine Nørgård Atelier, Tidemands gate 7, 3rd floor, Oslo
Duration: 2 weekends – 24 hours in total
Teaching hours: Saturday and Sunday, 11:00–17:00 each day
